What God demands from people

Faith means that humans view themselves and everything that exists as made by a creator who has definite ends in mind with everything He has made. Faith also implies that people believe that the Bible is God's perfect message to humans, which reflects absolute truth and is the absolute and perfect standard in all human affais.

	What God demands from people: faith, recognition Christians must not only have an absolute faith in their creator and in His Bible, but also in the Son of the creator: Jesus Christ. They acknowledge Jesus as God's only-begotten Son and as the seed that was promised in the Hebrew Scriptures.
	What God demands from people: obedience and prayer God hates it when people wish to be independent of Him and, against all reason, want to think that their life will get better if they decide not to submit themselves to their creator and His service. In the eyes of God there can never be any excuse for people who purposefully rebel against Him
	What God demands from people: integrity God wants every individual to realize that He has created him or her for a definite purpose and that people must serve the purpose for which they have been created. The purpose is: a perfect and eternal life in accordance with God's definition of a perfect and eternal human life.
	What God demands from people: baptism, right attitude towards blood and the poor In our entire human history there have always been many more poor people than rich people. In the Bible there are a lot of indications that this situation will remain so. Think of the well-known words of Jesus: you will always have the poor with you, but you will not always have Me with you.
	What God demands from people: the followers of Jesus must come together regularly There can be no doubt about it that the Bible calls upon all followers of JHWH and His Son to come together regularly and to establish organizations or congregations for that purpose. However, people who want to come together with other Christians are faced with an immense problem

It looks like it that a good Christian must not only make a thorough study of the Bible, but after that an equally thorough study of the question which of the hundreds or thousands of present day Christian denominations is nearest the Bible as regards teachings and practices.
